What is Pitstop? 

Pitstop is a free driver loyalty app that rewards you for stopping at Motorway Service Areas. Earn points and redeem them for exclusive on-site offers and partner brand deals. 

How does it work? 

Create an account by entering your vehicle registration number. Pitstop uses ANPR cameras and location services to detect your stop at a Motorway Service Area. 
You’ll earn points on arrival, which can be redeemed for on-site deals (e.g. coffee discounts or 2-for-1 snacks) or in-app brand offers (e.g. fashion discounts or free tickets). 

Pitstop also includes a Journey Planner that recommends ideal stops based on your trip length and preferences, which you can update anytime. 

What are Pitstop Points? 

Pitstop Points are loyalty points you earn through driving, stopping, and engaging with the app. Use them to redeem offers at service areas, unlock brand deals, or enter prize draws. 

How do I earn points? 

You earn points for joining Pitstop, for stopping at Motorway Service Areas, for rating sites you stop at, and for referring a friend to Pitstop. 

How do I redeem my points? 

Each offer shows the number of points needed to unlock it. Simply tap the offer and use your points. 
Need more? Rate a service area or invite a friend to earn extra points. 

What are Offers? 

Offers are discounts and rewards provided by Motorway Service Areas and brand partners, available in exchange for your Pitstop Points. 

What are Prize Draws? 

Use your points to enter weekly and monthly prize draws for exciting rewards. You can also earn entries by unlocking select brand offers. 

Why use the Journey Planner? 

The Journey Planner helps you map out your trip and shows recommended Pitstops along your route - filtered by your preferred food, brands, or facilities (like a play area or burger spot). 

Do you only recommend services relevant to me? 

Pitstop shows all Motorway Service Areas on your route. Look for the ‘P’ icon to spot your preferred stops and live offers. 

Is the app free? 

Yes — Pitstop is completely free, with no subscriptions or hidden fees. 

Where can I use the app? 

Pitstop is available across England, Scotland, and Wales.
